www.lochner-packaging.com (hereinafter "Lochner Verpackung") operates its website in accordance with the following rules and principles. Lochner Verpackung undertakes to comply with the provisions of applicable law on data protection and endeavours at all times to take account of the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation.                   

1. Definitions        
Data is deemed to constitute "personal" data where the data contains individual details regarding the personal or material circumstances of an identified or an identifiable person, and these include, in particular, the name and address as well as member name and member ID. 
The "collection" of data is understood to mean procurement of data.    
"Processing" refers to storing, modifying, transmitting, blocking and deleting data.      
The term "use" means any and all further usage of data which is not covered by the definition of processing.   

2. Collection and processing of data   
     
a) Contract relations
In the course of establishing contract relations between Lochner Verpackung and the customer, the personal data provided by the customer is collected and processed.                              

b) Newsletter
When customers order the Newsletter, the customer's e-mail address is collected and processed in all cases in order to complete such orders. It is not necessary for customers to indicate any further personal data for purposes of ordering the Newsletter. When registering for the Newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until such time as you de-register from the Newsletter. De-registration is possible at any time. 

c) Customer account 
In connection with any customer account, the customer's data is collected and processed. In particular, we store the customer's buying activities so that the customer may review them at any time.                              

d) Cookies
Use of cookies     
In order to make it more attractive for customers to visit our website and enable them to use certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages of our website. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your end device. Several of the cookies used by us will be deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. when you close your browser (so-called session cookies). a) Own use       
Personal data provided by customers will be used in order to enter into and perform the contract and for purposes of technical administration.                                            

b) Customer account
The purpose of the customer account is to enable customers to control their buying activities, to manage their customer accounts and to manage their personal settings.              

c) Disclosure of personal data             
The personal data will only be disclosed to third parties or otherwise transmitted where this is necessary for purposes of performing the contract, where this is necessary for invoicing purposes of where the customer has given his or her prior consent thereto.

d) Disclosure in all other cases
In all other cases, disclosure of data will only be performed in line with the applicable provisions of data protection law or upon request of public authorities, courts and the tax authorities or where a claim is asserted by a third party based on a potential violation of intellectual property rights (copyright, trade mark and other IP rights) by the holder of such rights.                                                      

4. E-mail Newsletter
When you register for the Newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until such time as you de-register from the Newsletter. You may de-register at any time. The Newsletter may be cancelled at any time via the link which is shown at the end of each of the Newsletters. 

5. Storage of text of contracts              
We store the text of contracts and forward the order details to you by e-mail. You may review our General Terms and Conditions at any time here. You may also review previous orders under your customer account.

6. Deletion of storage data, information, data blocking and revocation, contacts
                                      
a) Deletion, blocking or termination of contract relations
At such time as the contract comes to an end or your use otherwise ends, the customer's personal data will be immediately deleted provided that the data are no longer required for any further contract performance or administration. Data will be blocked instead of deleted if any retention periods required by law, the company's Articles or contract prevent deletion.                           

b) Revocation of consent  
The customer may at any time revoke his or her previously granted consent for collection and processing of personal data with effect as to the future. In order to do so, it will suffice already for the customer to merely send an e-mail to info@lochner-verpackung.de. In connection with this, please note our remarks regarding deletion in paragraph 4 a).

c) Right to information, correction, blocking or deletion     
Under the German Federal Data Protection Act, customers have a right to information free-of-charge regarding the data stored with respect to them and, where applicable, a right to have such data corrected, blocked or deleted.

7. Processing of online payments
In processing online payments by credit card, Lochner Verpackung collaborates with Sage Pay. In order to offer the ultimate in data security, transaction details are encoded via 128-bit SSL certificates. Sage Pay's servers are protected via 256-bit encoding standards. For this reason, Sage Pay has a Stage 1 certificate confirming its compliance with the PCI DSS data security standards introduced by the online payment industry. 8. Amendments to Data Protection Statement 
In the event that Lochner Verpackung amends its Data Protection Statement, this will be identified on its website and registered customers will be informed of this by e-mail.
